New York Travel Advice Needed?
I am planning a family trip (April or May) to NY that will include watching MLB games at both Shea and Yankee Stadium, visiting Central Park, World trade Center, etc. All of this will be packed into a 4 day trip. We are hoping to keep the prices reasonable. We have never been to New York, nor have we ever visited.
I could use some help on the following:
> Where to stay?
> What sites to see?
> Preferred methods of travel between sites?
Thanks in advance for your efforts.

1st off, I would get the baseball tickets as soon as you can. You want to see BOTH a Yankee and Met game. Since it’s rare that they play in the city at the same time, you are either going to get games when either one is going or coming from a road trip. Also, both teams are playing in their respected stadia for the last time, tickets will be tough to get.
The Yankees play in the Bronx, the Mets play in Queens. Both are easily accessible by subway. Stay in Manhattan.
the metroplitan museum of art is a great place to visit and cab is nicer then a subway, but a subway is less costly and not horribly crowded unless your going on in the morning
You also check NYC VIsit’s website to see which hotels will be good price for you, however AVOID HOTEL WOLCOTT at ALL COST.
My Japanese friend had bad experience in that hotel.
On that day, I didn’t know my friend called, so we called hotel, but they told us lie and she sign with group. After she called, she told me she sign her name.
You should get MetroCard.
