What can I do on vacation in New York?

I am going to New York for 2 weeks for vacation.
Can any one tell me what can I do there? Im planing a car trip. I need to know about some historic places and other fun things.

    When I went with my bf we went to the Jets summer training camp. I wanted to go to Edgar Allen Poe’s house but we didn’t make it.

    The question isn’t what can i do it’s what can’t I do. Your going to the city that never sleeps. It won’t take long for you to find something to do.

    you MUST hit 42nd street for pizza it’s the best italian pizza i’ve ever had
    statue of liberty
    ellis island
    shop
    edgar allen poe’s house

    all of these are MUSTS if your in tha NYC

    Go on-line and look for the New York vacation-travelers guide. There should be several different sites.
