    When it’s the coldest!

When it’s the coldest is when the prices drop due to the drop in demand.

I travel to NY every 2 months because of family. It depends on who you fly with and what type of hotel you stay at. The flights don’t change much and you can always get some good deals. As for travel websites:
THIS IS FOR BOOKING FLIGHTS AND HOTELS (HOTELS YOU COULD PROBALLY FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER THOUGH)

    TOURS

ALL ABOUT NY (THIS IS VERY HELPFUL!!!)

    Hope this helps!

You just have to keep checking the airline websites. Prices change every day and vary from year to year, especially with the price of gas and the economy right now, you never know.

I suspect flying during the holidays would be pricier, but that’s with everywhere.

    January 2nd - March 2nd.

The reason I say this is because well…AFTER New Years, all the tourist leave. There’s holiday sales, and such, not a lot of people traveling after the holiday season is up. As for travel websites…I don’t know if you meant, flying, train or bus. But…I just hope that helps! My friends and family have always gone to NYC after New Years, and found the best deals on EVERYTHING while we were there. Hotels, shopping, etc! Good luck!

January, the weather tends to be cold and since a lot of people do not like the cold (or sleep in the airport) and will skip visiting New York, most times you can find great airline bargains.

They are tons of travel sites out there all with their pros and cons. Which ever you choose, make sure you have sufficient to catch a connecting flight. I’ve use one site that didn’t do this for me and due to the weather, I missed my connecting flight and had to stay in an airport for 24 hours.

Right now, I use Orbitz for Business trips and Travelocity for pleasure ones.

Definitely late January and all of February….

General New York City travel info, links to cheap hotels, flights, etc. on the NYC Tourist Center website:

Search here for cheap hotels and Flights

It provides search option like near a landmark etc

But beware … cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel you are going to book.

Check the exact location of hotel from google maps.
