I have never been to New York City. This is my first time going. Do you have any suggestions on where I could go. I want to go somewhere exciting like any famous parks, museums, or buildings. Do you have any suggestions or any websites showing where I could go? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
We can’t visit the Statue of Liberty since it isn’t open. We really want to though.
If you can, could you please list some good hotels that my family and I could stay at overnight? We have to lan everything and we haven’t got much time to do so. Please help as much as you can and please help as soon as possible!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Oh, I was also wondering if you can name specific places. The answers so far are excellent but I need more specfic things. Please help! We have to leave soon before my vacation is over. So please HELP!!!!!!! O_o

Contact the Concierge at the hotel you are staying, they will help you map an easy and interesting tour of the city with some great historical stops. Perhaps, they can arrange to get tickets to a popular Broadway show like GREASE, with the newest starring cast members!
There is so much to see, but caution - many pickpockets around looking for unsuspecting tourists, so dress down, look like a local, don’t wear jewelry or an expensive purse, keep wallet and money inside near your body! Be careful, be alert, and have fun.
My favorite dinner place is Frankie & Johnnie’s - it’s a local hangout before the shows, busy, great food, noisy, crowded, but typical of that type of restaurant. Most tourists never heard of it!

Needless to say a quick internet search will solve your curiosity. Second, the Statue of Liberty is open… because I personally was part of an Army Color Guard which participated in its re-opening back in 2002 or 2003. There are hundreds of things to do, but continue to educate yourself as you are so the visit will be smooth.

Statue of Liberty is open……Make reservations if you actually want to get access inside the base….

Empire State Building….depending on the time of the year ….awesome idea to go up just before the sunset…..you get to see NYC in daylight and night time! Transition is pretty neat!

Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History are two museums you don’t want to miss.
They are near eachother by crossing Central Park…

I recommend you get yourself a guide book and pick on things that really interests you! There is so many things you can do here.!!
