America is such an unfriendly place. I take a photo on my holiday in New York an they stop me and write down my details.

Well I guess it’s to get out of dodge and hit the road home.

Please don’t judge everyone in our country by this very unpleasant experience. I am sorry that you will take this unhappy memory back to India after your holiday.

Actually the same thing happened where I live, my class took a trip downtown to take some pics of buildings and we got stopped by the police. Apparently, after 9/11, a bunch of cities don’t let people take unauthorized pictures of buildings because they might use them for terroristic reasons

    they are worried about terrorists

my freind is a 68 yr old white man with a crew cut and they
    asked him for his information

while he was photographing a bridge

so don’t feel bad they do this a lot now.
    it’s not profiling it’s paranoia
