Im going to new york for a holiday for a week anything intresting to do or see? Do famous people live there and stuff?

nope, no famous people live there. its boring and deserted
Walk as much as you can.
Museums - MOMA, Natural History, Metropolitan
Shop at the museum shops.
Eat all over the place - not chains but places that you cannot eat at at home.
there are a hundred famous that live here, there are things to see and do from early morn til night ,i suggest you buy a travel book or go on line a google too many places and things to type out iwould be all night doing it
Famous people here? Yes, and I’m sure they can’t wait to have you come here and point at them. Have you thought about going somewhere else instead?
Check out NY Waterway. They offer packages which include a harbor cruise around the island which you can combine with any one of the following: 2hour bus tour around midtown (hop-on/hop-off) or a helicopter tour or a visit to the empire state building which offers a simulated sky ride. They have free shuttle buses to from their midtown terminal into the city (rockefeller center, madison square garden, the village, soho, chelsea piers) or they can take you to radio city to see the rockettes (if you do, you get free ferry passes to nyc)… famous people?? madame tussaud’s wax museum (very cool).. i know it’ll be cold but there’s an ice-cream shop right near the wax musuem where the staff sings dances while making THE BEST ice cream ever! They combine it w/ actual cake - millions of flavors to choose from! Times Square - the best place to visit! Money - no Money - there is always something to do and something to see! And if you’re truly a kid @ heart.. check out Bar Codes (the sophisticated at the bottom play things on top)… check out these sights.. they’re great!
